William (Bill) Skallos is a highly experienced Registered Architect with over 40 years in architectural design, documentation, and construction administration. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University (Bachelor of Architecture, 1976), Bill has built a distinguished career serving educational, municipal, commercial, and multi-family residential clients throughout Michigan and beyond.
Bill’s experience spans schematic design through construction documents and field representation. He has led and contributed to numerous K–12 and higher education projects, including major additions, renovations, adaptive reuse developments, and large-scale millage-funded improvements. His portfolio also includes multi-family housing developments involving new construction, acquisition rehabilitation, and mixed adaptive reuse projects.
Throughout his career with firms such as DeStigter Architecture LLC, MC Smith Associates, Paradigm Design, and The Design Forum, Bill has consistently provided strong technical leadership and project oversight.
Bill is our go-to resource for building code expertise, as well as technical knowledge related to building construction and detailing. His deep understanding of codes, constructability, and specification writing makes him an invaluable asset to project teams and clients alike.
In addition to his professional work, Bill is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Rockford Sportsman’s Club and as a founding member and Board member of the West Michigan Archery Center.
